Students will learn methods of installation, operation and test the wiring 1 & 3 phase also detect and repair damage to electrical circuits. In addition, students will also be taught how to control, maintenance of generators, motors and electrical equipment industry in accordance with the prescribed standards.
After graduation students will receive the Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 1 to Level 3 commissioned by the Department of Skills Development (DSD) and Certificate of Technology is accredited by the Manpower Department (JTM) as well as Certificate of Competency Wiring Single Phase (PW2)/ (PW4) of the Energy Commission (EC).
Graduates have the opportunity to work on the electrical contractor registered with the Energy Commission (EC) as Wireman or work in the field of industrial electrical maintenance as electrical technician. Postgraduate students of this course can also run their own electrical contracting company registered with the Energy Commission (EC).
